The Philips TSU 9600 Pronto looks more like the now-defunct Palm LifeDrive instead of the universal remote control that it is. The Pronto comes with a lovely 3.7″ 640 x 480 pixel touchscreen and claims to be able to control nearly everything imaginable. It is powerful enough to work through walls, although we aren’t sure what the side effects from living in such close proximity to a device like this in the long run will be like. All the functions can be configured via the PC for an easier and more fulfilling user experience. Ah well, no matter how good it is, the Pronto will not be able to hold a candle against the king of all universal remote controls as seen in Click!.
