Saitek will be offering the Eclipse II backlit keyboard sometime this month, which updates on the older Eclipse. You now have a choice of 3 different backlit colors – purple, red, or blue that are illuminated via the laser-etched keys. There is a dimmer switch on the keyboard that enables you to adjust to a lighting level that is comfortable to your eyes. At the base of the Eclipse II is a silver casing that has rubber feet at the bottom to prevent any slippage while typing. Additional features include media keys. The $69.95 Eclipse II is compatible with both Windows XP and 2000.
