Saturn SP90 smartphone debuts

The Taitronics expo in Bangkok has seen Kinpo unveil the Saturn SP90 Pocket PC smartphone. Powered by a Freescale i.MX21 350MHz processor that is embedded with a MP4 HW Decoder and running on the latest Windows Mobile 5.0 operating system, the tri-band GSM/GPRS 900/1800/1900MHz SP90 is a multimedia powerhouse with its 2 megapixel camera with 8x digital zoom, a generous 2.8″ 262k color TFT display with 240 x 320 resolution, Bluetooth 2.0, IrDA, and WiFi connectivity, and a QWERTY keyboard for speedy messaging. Further expand the 128MB ROM and 64MB RAM via the miniSD memory card slot. Pricing and availability details are unknown as at press time.
