Sony introduces LS1 PC/TV combo

Sony might be on to something with the new LS1, which is essentially a PC-TV combo. The LS1 sports a 19″ LCD display and is powered by an Intel Core Duo processor. The operating system of choice would be the Windows XP Media Center Edition. Other specifications include 2GB of RAM that is vital for entertainment PCs, a 250GB hard drive, built-in WiFi connectivity, an integrated webcam, and an analogue TV tuner. The 19″ display supports a native resolution of 1680 x 1050. Last but not least, the inclusion of a DVD writer makes the LS1 an attractive PC/TV proposition. It will be available in mid-September for $2,100.
