Verizon Wireless carries Novatel EV DO ExpressCard

Most newer notebooks are equipped with ExpressCard slots, phasing out the older PCMCIA slot slowly but surely. Verizon Wireless will be shipping the Novatel Wireless V640 ExpressCard/34 beginning August 24 for $179.99 and $229.99 with two or one year agreements respectively. This new EV-DO card is extremely portable as the size is nearly half of standard PC cards, making it convenient to carry around for frequent travelers. The V640 ExpressCard features plug and play capability and boasts an advanced dual-band diversity design for speedier data performance and better reception.
