Since the Japanese love their iPods a whole lot, Elecom decided to keep their iconic digital audio players going with a charger which is powered by a single 9V battery. All you need to do is to dock the iPod to the connector on one end, and connect a 9V battery on the other. We’re not sure how much more playing time the 9V battery is able to provide, but it is better than sitting on a train staring at others who are busy having fun on their DS Lites and grooving away to tunes on their respective iPods. There are no details on pricing and availability at the moment.
