What happens when you join up half a dozen iPods under the same roof? No, you won’t get any Voltron robot to hack down the next door neighbor, but what you can do is to purchase the MODE Keypad device. This wall-mounted LCD screen comes with a scroll-wheel, a volume knob, and a few rudimentary buttons to control all 6 iPods. This means that everybody’s playlists are now open game for the rest of the family to peruse through. The LCD display shows metadata such as song titles, album names, artist names, and genres from your iPod. A remote control is thrown into the bundle for those who are too lazy to get up from the couch/bed. Pricing details are unavailable, but the MODE Keypad sure looks sweet!
