Looks like dual displays are the way to go – just take a look at the cellphone industry and even Nintendo’s seemingly unstoppable DS Lite. Asus has developed a concept notebook which comes with a secondary display on the outside, enabling users to take full control of their music with dedicated MP3 keys and the ability to browse through their e-mail without the need to open the device. This design concept will most probably be made standard in the future to cater for the upcoming Windows Vista operating system. It seems metadata is the next big thing, and everybody is jumping onto the bandwagon. What is next on the list – a clamshell GPS portabel navigation device?
