
Belkin will include the Intel Wireless UWB Link 1480 MAC silicon in its new UWB USB Adapter which is based on WiNet and Certified Wireless USB technology. Features include peer-to-peer connectivity support which allow users across different computers to share multimedia content. Intel’s solution boasts short range, high-bandwidth capabilities, coupled with low power consumption, makes it the perfect tool for wireless personal connectivity at home or at the office. Belkin aims that the UWB USB Adapter will be the first step in the long journey of providing wireless access to all users around the globe.
