BenQ will supplant its C800 compact digital camera with the DC C1000. This new 10.1 megapixel camera boasts a 3x optical zoom, a generous 2.4″ TFT LCD screen, and a host of user-friendly modes and features which make taking photographs a snap even for the inexperienced shutterbug. You can also record VGA-quality movies with the DC C1000 in MPEG4 format at 30fps. Printing photos is made easy with the PictBridge function that enables you to print directly to a PictBridge-compatible printer without the need for a PC. It stores photos on an SD card and comes with 24MB of built-in memory. The BenQ DC C1000 will be released sometime this month at a yet undisclosed price. More features are available after the jump.
