Dell has hit the right balance of size and power with the new XPS 210 gaming rig. The 12.5″ x 14.5″ x 3.7″ case makes it sound more suitable for office applications that being used in frantic gaming sessions, but you would be mistaken in thinking so. Dell has successfully crammed in a 500GB hard drive and an Intel Core 2 Duo processor. You can have up to 4GB of DDR2 RAM, although the graphics fall short with a low end GPU. You most probably have to purchase a more powerful GPU yourself in order to milk the XPS 210 for all its worth. Prices start from $1,099 upwards depending on the configuration. One wonders how hot it gets inside with such limited space.
