DoCoMo has lifted the curtain on the FOMA card from Motorola which is capable of supporting DoCoMo’s new HSDPA services, enabling users to experience sustained download speeds which average at 3.6Mbps. The included M2501 software allows users to make both voice and video calls. You just have to be extra careful and watch how much data is downloaded as DoCoMo currently does not offer any fixed-rate data transfer package for PC access in order not to rack up an astronomical bill at the end of the month. The M2501 card supports GSM networks and can be used to make voice calls in 145 countries worldwide. It will retail for approximately $130.
