Sega could’ve done much better in releasing a robotic version of Sonic the Hedgehog, but it came out with the Dream Pony robot instead. He looks pretty soft at the first glance, but one would always wonder when the Dream Pony would suddenly launch one of its death kicks at a poor little kid when nobody is watching. Thankfully, Sega has limited his movement to the head for the moment. The Dream Pony comes with sensors on the neck and back which responds accordingly to petting and stroking. with the appropriate noise depending on his mood. The Dream Pony will cost you approximately $577, and Sega is targeting a 10,000 sales figure per annum. Parents would be interested to know that one can pick up two Wiis and a couple of games for that price come this November.
