Since the DS Lite never intended to be a multimedia machine from the beginning, there never really was a need for an external sound system. This has not stopped Gamextra from bringing you the DS Lite Sound System sometime in the next few weeks. This £19.99 add-on snaps onto the DS Lite without taking up too much space, hence enabling you to leave it there when toting your handheld around. It is available in black and white colors to match the DS Lite, unless you are one who purchased one of those weirdly colored ones. The DS Lite Sound System is powered by the DS Lite’s power supply or via the internal rechargeable li-ion battery.
