Epson has released a couple of new Photo Banks which are actually portable storage devices which act as a digital photo album. Not only do you get to save space at home by transferring digitized photos over, it is much more convenient as well. The impressive P-5000 device features a 4″ display with a resolution of 640 x 480, an 80GB hard drive, video output, a USB port, as well as audio and video playback ala PMPs. The P-2500 has a slightly smaller 3.8″ display with a hard drive which is half the size of the P-5000′s. Both Photo Banks support CF, SD, and the new SDHC card formats. Just make sure you make a backup of all the photos stored in the Epson Photo Bank as you never know when disaster might strike.
