Apple might think that they have done a pretty banged up job with the revamped nano, iPod Video, and Shuffle, but the company could pause for a moment and see what iRiver has done with its line of digital audio players. You could say the iRiver S10 is a sight to behold as it features a 1.5″ OLED display and SRS WOW with 30mW (16O) in a package that measures a mere 42mm x 30mm x 10.8mm, weighing just 17.5g. Supported audio formats include MP3, WMA, ASF, and OGG, while iRiver has even managed to squeeze in a built-in FM tuner. The S10 comes in 1GB and 2GB capacities with a battery life of approximately 8 hours. All these innovations in a tiny package, and yet the nano marches on without missing a beat. Is there something that draws us to iPods like bees to honey?
