The Fujifilm FinePix A700 is the flagship model in the line of Fujifilm’s entry-level digital cameras. The A700 comes with a 7.3 megapixel Super CCD sensor with 3x optical zoom, a generous 2.4″ LCD display, and unparalleled low-noise performance via the ISO 100-400 sensitivity range. Unfortunately, the A700 falls rather short when it comes to the number of scene modes available which stands at just 4. You would expect more help for the novice shutterbug with a wider variety of scene modes in order to take the best pictures possible under any condition. The 12MB of built-in memory comes in handy when your xD Picture card runs out of space. The A700 will be available early next month at the recommended retail price of $199.
