Grundig introduces Tharus 3D TV

Grundig has a brand new TV set that displays images in 3D without requiring you to wear those geeky looking glasses. A stereo High Definition camera is used for recording, where the two pictures are then transmitted over to a converter box that recreates the 3D scene, generating multiple views in real time. The Grundig Tharus 3D TV then brings the 3D experience to your living room by displaying 8 views simultaneously in different directions. We’re not sure how long one can watch the Tharus 3D TV before the need to throw up occurs. Current “3D” displays usually have a lower resolution. I find that fairly disturbing.
