HP is encroaching on Dell and Apple territory when the company announced its latest 30″ LCD monster, the LP3065. This new LCD monitor boasts a 92% color gamut and you will need to have a DVI-D dual link graphics card at the very least, as this beast will not come with any component, composite, or S-Video output. The HP LP3065 has a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1600 which translates to a vast working landscape, a speedy 8ms response time, and comes with 3 DVI inputs and HDCP. HP has placed a $2,000 price tag on the LP3065, making it pretty much out of reach for the average Joe. Heck, a compatible video card itself costs quite a handsome amount of money, let alone the LCD display. Why not check out our Dell 3007WFP review to see what the LP3065 is up against?
