HTC is currently hard at work developing the new Windows Mobile-powered device that will feature the standard numeric keypad as well as a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. Codenamed ‘Libra’, this new device packs in both keypad and keyboard into an extremely portable dimension that resembles a standard candybar cellphone, which makes it much smaller than current HTC devices with a slide-out keyboard. The HTC Libra will support EV-DO Revision A networks, with a CDMA version ready to roll out in Q1 which will be followed by a GSM version shortly after.
