The Nintendo Wii looks set to be the second horse out of the next-generation video game console stable as IBM has begun to ship the first batch of processors that will be used in the Nintendo Wii. Codenamed “Broadway”, this processor is finally in volume production and will be designed on the 90nm process. The Broadway processor will boast a 20% increase in power efficiency over its predecessor found in the GameCube. This news comes as a pleasant surprise and the Nintendo Wii will probably be out in time to meet the demands and expectations of parents and kids worldwide during the upcoming holiday season.
