Intel Ruby is no gem

Intel looks like it is running out of ideas to develop in-house designs that are appealing to the eyes, and one look at the prototype Intel Ruby device adds further strength to that notion. Although not all prototype designs make it to the manufacturing line, making it an unfair measuring yardstick, you cannot deny that there is still much work to be done on the Intel Ruby. Then again, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. This device is a compact touchscreen tablet which comes with a swivel keyboard, built-in WiFi and WiMAX connectivity, and the ability to hook up with a car for navigational and audio entertainment purposes. What is your take on the Ruby?
