Leica V-Lux Compact All-Arounder

The V-Lux from Leica looks like a digital SLR at a glance, but it is actually a standard compact digital camera that comes fixed to a fully functional and capable 35mm to 400mm lens. Leica claims that the 12x lens and 10 megapixel sensor is capable of taking photographs of equivalent image quality as other higher end cameras, albeit in a much smaller and sleeker package. Features of the “Compact All-Rounder” includes a 2″ display that can swivel around, making it easy to see what you’re shooting from difficult angles. Leica apparently took the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ50 and tweaked its image processor to bring you the V-Lux.
