Media Keg HD30B9 from Kenwood

Kenwood has ousted the HD30A9 digital audio player with the new and improved Media Keg HD30B9. This upcoming digital audio player will be released sometime later this month, coming in black instead of cobalt. Improvements include an enhanced digital amplifier, a built-in lithium ion battery with superb battery life, and a 2.2″ color TFT display. Audio formats supported include MP3, WMA, WMA-DRM9, WAV, and Kenwood Lossless. The HD30B9 ships with a 30GB hard drive and files are transferred via a USB 2.0 connection. No prizes for guessing what the next iteration will be named. Word on the street is the HD30B9 will retail somewhere in the region of $500, making this one expensive DAP.
