Move over Lomography – enter Oktomat

Remember the Lomography craze a few years back? The folks who brought you the Lomograph decided they needed more money, and thus has introduced the Oktomat to help you part with your hard-earned dough. It comes with a total of 8 lenses this time, and at $40 a pop, you can hardly expect the kind of image quality found in photos shot with a Carl Zeiss lens. The Oktomat takes 8 photos at the touch of a button in a 2.5 second, serial succession in order to recreate art. It has not moved into the digital realm yet at this moment, using a standard 35mm film and traditional processing methods – hence the relatively low price.
