Looks like Philips has added the VP5500 into its stable of videophones after its introduction at IFA 2006. The VP5500 is a wireless videophone that comes with a rotating camera, enabling you to carry on a video conversation with somebody else on the other line. It goes without saying that such conversations work best if both parties use the same phone. You can press the button located on the side of the VP5500 to toggle the video function on or off. In addition, the VP5500 also works as an ordinary cordless phone. Pictures courtesy of Aving.
