The Robo-One competition in Japan has seen some pretty notable entries, and among them is the KHR-2, which is also better known as “Layered X”. The KHR-2 walks on all four feet but can transform into a bipedal creature when the need arises. A modified KHR-2 can also be attached on the shoulders of the original, turning it into some sort of Mini-Me which is bound to be the talk of town when you get one. Both robots, when fused together, are then able to perform co-ordinated moves which guarantees to keep the audience glued to their seats. Head on here to watch a couple of videos of the KHR-2 in some robotic action.
