Roll-up notebook display

Engineers at the time-honored University of Cambridge in the U.K. has successfully developed materials with morphing properties which make it possible to roll up a notebook screen as if it were a newspaper. The prototype’s main electronic components are stored inside the wooden strips located vertically on both ends of the screen. It is mentioned that products based on today’s prototypes will probably be available in the mass consumer market within the next five years. You don’t even have to worry about dropping the display on the floor anymore as there is nothing to break. When the real deal is finally out, it will make a great companion to the Eleksen Fabric Keyboard.
