Samsung has unveiled the biggest flexible LCD module in the world, boasting a full 7 inches of glory. This product of the future is constructed from high-quality plastics which are not as brittle and thinner when compared against conventional glasses, and uses it to sandwich the liquid crystal display. The new plastic LCD module is able to maintain a uniform level of thickness when bent while keeping the picture quality stable. When this new flexible LCD module goes into mass production, we will probably see a whole slew of products with wearable displays popping up all over. This new high-resolution display will also see action in various devices such as cellphones, portable DVD players, and satellite navigation systems.
