SanDisk has upped the ante in the flash memory market by introducing a couple of new cards in the form of the SanDisk Extreme III CF card which is available in 12GB and 16GB capacities as well as the diminutive 4GB Ultra II SDHC card. The new CF card is a speed demon, boasting a jaw-dropping 20MB/s minimum read and write speeds, while the Ultra II SDHC opens a can of whoop ass on its competitors with 9MB/s and 10MB/s write/read speeds. The 12GB and 16GB Extreme III CF Card will retail for 475 Euros and 633 Euros respectively, while the 4GB Ultra II SDHC is more affordable at 123 Euros with a bundled MicroMate USB adapter.
