SanDisk unveils 4GB miniSD card

Looks like the miniSD flash memory card does not want to get left behind in the quest for ever more storage space. SanDisk has introduced the new 4GB miniSD SDHC card, thoroughly producing a royal trashing of all the other miniSD cards that cellphone owners use. Unfortunately, you will need a cellphone which is compatible with the new SD 2.0 standard. It is strongly advisable to wait for the time when SD 2.0 compatibility with cellphones become the industry standard before forking out your dough on these new puppies. There is no word on pricing, although cellphone manufacturers are expected to embrace this new standard from next year onwards.
