Just when you think High Definition TV is the bomb, Japanese scientists have poured cold water on it by unveiling the Ultra High Definition TV in Europe. This new system boasts 16 times the resolution of current HDTV at 7680 x 4320 pixels. HDTV makes you feel as if you are watching the real thing right in front of your eyes, but U-HDTV aims to bring realism to the next level by making you feel as though you are part of the scene itself. Those who have recently invested heavily in a HDTV set can breathe easy as such technology will probably be affordable to the public after a quarter of a century has passed.
