Sharp triple Directional Viewing LCDs

We have LCD displays which come with dual views, but Sharp decided that the age-old adage, “the more the merrier”, applies in this case by introducing an LCD display with triple Directional Viewing. Depending on the viewing angle, you are capable of seeing up to 3 different movies and pictures on the same screen simultaneously. This means dad will take the middle to watch his ball game, the kids can cover the left for their Saturday morning cartoons while sis and mom can keep themselves entertained over the latest soap opera on the right. There is no word on availability nor pricing at this moment. One thought though – will watching from an angle anywhere but the middle for prolonged periods cause strain on your eyes?
