The uPlus Pen is capable of featuring a real-time PC screen display of images and texts handwritten on paper without the need to go through an ardous data input process. This device will store electronic texts and images in a proprietary format which can be retrieved for use later. It uses a special pattern-printed paper with positioning information in order to keep track of where the pen is going and has gone. The uPlus Pen is much easier to use than traditional pen devices as you can immediately see what is written on the paper directly. There are four modes associated with the uPlus Pen – ball pen, pencil, writing brush, and highlighter, which are all pretty self-explanatory. Data entered using the four different modes will look as if it was written with a ball-point pen.
