Bosch is famous for its line of power tools, but their new dishwasher does not only do dishes but toys as well. This toy-safe diswasher is the first of its kind in the market and was developed via a collaboration with Lego. Since most toys these days are made from very thin plastic, a regular cycle will cause them to melt in no time at all. A cold cycle with soap is inadequate to kill all germs, so Bosch circumvented both problems by using a special cycle at a temperature of 40° C, which is just the right temperature to get rid of all germs while keeping the toys in pristine condition. This toy-friendly dishwasher costs anywhere between $1,100 to $1,700, depending on the model.
