First there was news about 3D TVs hitting our living rooms in the near future, followed by a PMP accessory that lets you view images in 3D after a minor modification, and now this – the Cheoptics360 visual medium from ViZoo that offers floating 3D video images which looks amazingly real from all angles. This four-sided pyramid is constructed from transparent material that functions as a prism which will absorb all light from 4 video projections, which are then stitched together to create the images. This will create a 3D image inside the pyramid courtesy of surface mirroring and reflections. Will this development remain a novelty, or do you think it will be incorporated in our living rooms in due time?
