Cowon’s iAudio D1 is a pretty impressive device, featuring support for the most popular audio and video formats such as MP3, WAV, WMA, Ogg, FLAC, and MPEG 4. In addition, you also get digital audio broadcasting, line-in and voice recording, a photo and text viewer, and a pretty impressive battery life of 30 hours. The iAudio D1 also comes with a 1.3″ OLED display with 160 x 128 pixels resolution that isn’t optimal for watching feature length movies. The Cowon iAudio D1 has recently been made available for pre-order and will come with a 4GB capacity at the recommended retail price of $295. Would you pay an extra $100 for the D1′s video playback capability over the 2G iPod nano 4GB model?
