The Cowon iAudio N2 does not have the word casual in its dictionary. This serious piece of hardware comes with a bunch of features which are are a few levels in front of the standard portable media player. The N2 runs on Windows CE 5.0 which is ably handled by an AMD Alchemy 500MHz processor with 128MB of RAM. An extremely huge 7″ WQVGA LCD touchscreen display (480 x 234 resolution) serves its purpose well, be it for movies, browsing through the integrated GPS navigation system, or even watching movie via DMB. Expansion options are plentiful, with a couple of SD card slots. Supported formats include all the major media types. The iAudio N2 will most probably not see the light of day Stateside despite its long list of features. Do you guys prefer to watch TV via a portable media player or from the comfort of your own home?
