Futaba has released a new humanoid robot that will go on sale in both Japan and U.S., boasting some really mind-blowing features that will scream for the consumer dollar’s attention during the upcoming holiday season. The Futaba Robot stands slightly over 10″ and weighs a shade under 1kg. It is equipped with 11 high torque servos and 9 lightweight servos and is controlled by a remote control that operates on the 2.4GHz frequency. There are 15 pre-programmed motion sequences to get you started once the Futaba Robot is assembled, while more creative brains will use the included motion editor to create your own motion sequences. The Futaba Robot costs $1,700 in Japan though, making it one expensive toy. Original photos by Botmag.com
