The g-Smart i300 from Gigabyte is a new smartphone that will be released this December. This triband handset features GPS connectivity courtesy of the highly accurate SiRFStar III GPS chipset. In addition, you also get Bluetooth connectivity which can be used to dial pre-assigned numbers via the Bluetooth headset during an emergency, sending your last known co-ordinates. A 2.4″ QVGA touchscreen display should be sufficient for all navigation purposes. The g-Smart i300 is powered by Intel’s PXA270 520MHz processor that runs on the Windows Mobile 5.0 operating system. Other features include 256MB ROM, 64MB RAM, a miniSD card slot, and a 2 megapixel camera.
