If there are USB-powered beverage chillers and hot plates, why not apply the same principle to the insole of your shoe? You can now walk outside in the snow without suffering from an acute case of frozen toes. A tiny battery located outside your boot powers these electronic insoles in order to keep you warm and toasty inside despite the freezing temperatures on the outside. A wireless remote control that is worn around your neck will control the temperature according to your preference. For $350 though, you could probably use that money to purchase a pair of wool socks and use the rest of the money for a Wii. At least you get to play games in the warm comfort of your home.
