Iomega has launched an update to the REV Loader 280 today with the REV Loader 560 which comes with double the storage capacity of its predecessor. The number 560 is derived from the 560GB of storage space, courtesy of eight 70GB REV discs. The REV Loader 560 is able to hit a whooping 1.12TB of data storage when you use compression. This device is connected via High-Speed USB 2.0 and is capable of achieving data transfer rates of up to 30MB/s. The Rev Loader 560 uses two stage error correction in order to maintain data accuracy. You would be surprised that this 7″ tall and 5″ wide package can pack in so much data. You can pick one up today for $1,799.
