JVC claims that their new pair of noise-reducing headphones, the HP-NC80, is capable of reducing ambient noise by as much as 75% so that you get to enjoy your music in its purest form possible. There are a couple of modes associated with the HP-NC80 – wide and low, which can be switched on-the-fly in order to best suit your surroundings. The headset has a range from 10Hz to 22kHz and is powered by AAA batteries which provides up to 50 hours of audio playback. The JVC HP-NC80 will be first released in Japan. Pricing details are unavailable, but it should retail somewhere in the region of $70 to $100.
