LG CU500 phone debuts

Looks like the LG CU500 will be coming soon after being introduced to the world at IFA 2006. This quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE (850/900/1800/1900MHz) cellphone comes with UMTS/HSDPA connectivity which allows you to surf the Internet at blazing fast speeds which rivals that of a broadband connection. The CU500 has a dimension of 3.8″ x 1.95″ x 0.76″ and weighs 3.7oz. This clamshell handset comes with an internal and external TFT LCD display as with other cellphones in its class, and features a unique MusicID function that enables you to search for the audio track and singer name by merely speaking into the integrated microphone. The LG CU500 has a standby time of 10 days and a talk time of 5 hours. There is no word on pricing and availability at this moment.
