More rumors – i-Mate has new releases

Things have spiced up on the smartphone front with rumors of i-Mate preparing a couple of new devices in the form of the JAQ3 and the K-JAR. The former looks somewhat like the Samsung SGH-i320, and it will use the Windows Mobile 5.0 Phone Edition operating system while the latter is one large black brick that has a unique swiveling 2.8″ color display. Other than that, the K-JAR is confirmed to be a Pocket PC Phone Edition device. These morsels of information will have to do for the moment – until i-Mate releases an official statement, take these rumors with a pinch of salt. Pictures courtesy of PDA France.
