F-Tech of Taiwan has unveiled the NAV550 that features the highly-sensitive SiRFStar III GPS chipset that works great even indoors, capable of tracking signals down to -159dBm. The NAV550 comes with a high capacity rechargeable lithium-ion battery rated at 1100mAH which is more than capable of providing enough juice for many hours. Features include a 3.5″ 65k color TFT LCD touchscreen, a pair of 1.5W stereo speakers, the Windows CE.Net 4.2 operating system, and smart2go maps courtesy of TeleAtlas. Pricing and availability details are currently unconfirmed.
