Looks like rumors of a red iPod nano will transform into fact as Bono lifts the curtain on the red version of Apple’s second-generation iPod nano on national TV. Apple has agreed to maintain the $199 price tag for the new red iPod nano, donating $10 to the Product RED Charity for each red iPod nano sold which will then be used to help women and children in Africa whose lives have been wrecked by the HIV/AIDS epidemic. This news comes shortly after Motorola decided to chip in by unveiling a Red RAZR. If there ever was a good time to pick up one of those lovely iPod nanos, now would be it. At least you have a good excuse to purchase another if you’re already a proud owner of one.
