It looks as though the term convergence has now entered the realm of portable audio/video players with the addition of VoIP capability by virtue of the Rimax Mystic’s introduction. Available in 512MB, 1GB, and 2GB capacities, the Mystic comes with a 1.5″ OLED display and supports the most common audio and video file formats. Granted, the tiny display is not conducive for feature length movies, but it is ideal for short clips. Other features include an integrated FM radio with 20 presets, a picture viewer, and direct recording from an external source or radio. You can also use it as a VoIP handset by plugging it directly to your PC via USB. The 512MB, 1GB, and 2GB models retail for $105, $131, and $169 respectively.
