Samsung’s new SyncMaster 305T will challenge 30″ LCD displays from Dell and Apple, boasting a resolution of 2560 x 1600, an aspect ratio of 16:10, a brightness level of 400cd/m2, and a contrast ratio of 1,000 to 1. Samsung is targeting professional markets such as CAD and medical imaging with the 305T, although there will be gamers who are always looking out for a larger monitor. Unfortunately, its response time of 6ms is not exactly slow, but neither is it suitable for fast-paced gaming, especially FPS games. You can pick up the Samsung 305T for $1,999.99 which is roughly the same figure as its competitiors. In the meantime, you can check out our review of the Dell 3007WFP.
