Designer Kaffe Matthews has developed a Sonic Bed that comes with integrated loudspeakers to help lull you to bed with tunes that soothe your nerves after a long day at work. The Sonic Bed aims to let the user feel the music instead of just listening to it. It might some like some phychological hogwash, but Kaffe Matthews maintains that the Sonic Bed is capable of projecting an endless loop of sounds that washes over the user at a certain frequency and intensity that make for a very pleasant experience. This could possibly be the first bed in the world that requires 220V of electricity to power its multi channel sound system.
